So first of all, I'm really interested in the Centralia Mine Fire. I've been seeing pictures on Google. It's creepy. All the houses there are abandoned. My godmother Kelly's family used to live in Centralia when it all first started. Kelly's graduation celebration was in Centralia. It was started in a mine which was filled with coal, and when you light a piece of coal, it starts burning and burning and burning, so that's why it never stopped for years. Centralia has mines under all of it so they couldn't put it out. There's gases everywhere in Centralia in the mines and that makes it dangerous, such as carbon monoxide. All the roads are closed in because they could collapse because of the fire under the road.
Second of all, my favorite band, Coheed and Cambria, lost their basist because he was in an armed robbery. He was robing a Walgreens pharmacy. That's really sad because I really liked the way he played bass. Mom thought it was terrible that he stole stuff from Walgreens when he could just buy what he needed and I said he would never have done that in his right mind, he was was just drunk or high, no doubt. This was not the answer my Mom wanted me to say and led to Mom saying that she doesn't want me to see this band in October. I think that since they kicked him out of the band, I should still see them. I think the bad influence is gone and not in the band anymore. Write to my mom and tell her to let me go to the concert in October.
Dude, there is a Superman issue about the Centralia mine fire! Action Comics #558: "Centralia appears in Bob Rozakis' story in Action Comics #558 as Superman comes to Coaltown to use his heat vision to make a firebreak and put the fire out."
