So you remember last week's blog, that girl problem with the girl? Well, I solved that problem in a way that is simple. It's not a date, because I'm only nine. And not only that, but my brother and her sister were there, and brothers and sisters don't come on dates. But I took her to see Narnia. I purposely chose that because I knew that was the movie she wanted to see most. I paid for the movie and the snacks. And it was a great movie. The best part was, she didn't even say thank you to my DAD. She said, "Thank you, CONNOR." So she knew that it was ME treating her to a movie. I was originally worried that her Dad was going to be angry because I was rude to her by accident a few weeks ago, but apparently she tells me that she has boyfriends and her Dad is used to it. And she's not even my girlfriend anyway, so why should he be mad at me.
I think that I'll win her someday, even if she does have a boyfriend now. If I keep doing nice things for her, I'll prove that I am really the right person for her. I don't mean to brag, but I really think that someday, when I'm grown enough to have a girlfriend, I would make the best boyfriend for her. I know that I will always appreciate that she is a very special person and I will always remind her that she is smarter and much prettier than any other girl.
Sounds like you definitely WILL be the best boyfriend ever when you grown up! :)
ReplyDeleteWell done, Connor. Manners and consideration are very important things. Also, being a good friend. I enjoy your blog. Love you~}
